Our Space
Cause Coffee’s facility feels homey because it WAS a home! Our space was a home built in 1910 and we have left as many original elements as possible ..... floors, fireplace, built-ins, doors and trim, doorknobs, windows, and even a light fixture hanging over our espresso machine. I can’t help but think of the people who once lived here and adventured through the ups and downs of life. Even though I have added modern features, I hope to have left a tribute to a time gone before us.
Come enjoy hand-made wood tables where the wood came from a friend’s farm in central Kansas to wooden benches originally made for our daughters wedding. During cooler weather, enjoy our beautiful fire place with a unique piece of art, that features the world map, hanging above. It reminds us of our global mission. The walls are white to compliment the beautiful woodwork and old palettes were deconstructed for an accent wall featuring a beautiful macrame piece from a local artist. The wooden stick used in the macrame was carried back from a hike in Colorado the week I resolved to create Cause. That entire hike my mind was racing thinking of all the details to accomplish to bring Cause Coffee to fruition. Now when I walk in and see that macrame hanging on my Rocky Mountain stick, I know that dreams do come true! Come, enjoy this old space, make new memories, and maybe it will give birth to new dreams for YOU!
